Eno House is West Hillsborough's "gathering place," where community members can see old friends, make new ones, decompress after work, dance to music, and indulge in shared hobbies like chess and poetry. The building was previously Eno United Methodist Church, which can be traced back to 1906. Over the past century, church attendance declined drastically, until it merged with Union Grove United Methodist Church in 2017, where Rich Greenway serves as the pastor. Rich has since been integral in transforming the old church into the multi-use community center and concert venue it is today.

Through these past few months, I have gotten to know the people who meet at Eno House, from traveling musicians to nationally ranked chess players. It is a place where neighbors get to know each other, support one another, and make memories together. It is truly a "Third Place" for many in the community, whether it's where they go to quietly write poetry, to have a meal with friends, or to sing their heart out to their favorite songs. I am grateful to have met all the kind, amazing people at Eno House, who greeted me with smiles, didn't hesitate to extend invitations, and offered me help along the way.
